With 25 tons of waste produced in France every second, recycling is at the heart of a responsible approach. With this in mind, JULES & JENN offers you a product made from recycled raw materials . Our recycled canvas sneaker is proof that it is possible to give waste a second life, while creating a stylish and high-quality sneaker!
Collected from the sea or on land, waste such as plastic bottles and fishing nets are recycled to create yarn. This 100% recycled yarn is woven into a durable and stylish fabric . It takes 9 plastic bottles to make one pair of recycled yarn sneakers.
The sole is made from tire scraps directly from the car tire production line. In addition to allowing us to upcycle waste from a material that is not biodegradable, this ensures unbeatable durability !
In order to offer you a leather-free model , we have chosen a lining made up of 35% "no-food" cereals , which are not used for food: comfort guaranteed thanks to this material which is both light and very breathable.
The canvas, sole, and lining are then assembled in our usual partner workshop in Portugal. Specializing in the manufacture of casual styles, they always take the same care in assembly as in finishing.
Our sneakers are available in a variety of colors: from black to blue, brown, or even beige, all you have to do is choose!
