Transparency

The backbone of our sustainable approach, transparency, is a founding value for us. Choosing an eponymous brand JULES & JENN, inspired by the two first names of our founding couple Julien and Jennifer, was our first step on the path to transparency!

Price transparency

We make fashion differently, for everyone to see. Sharing information with you allows everyone to choose, in full awareness. It legitimately empowers you as consumers. It means trusting your informed and fair judgment. Also, since the creation of our brand in 2016, we have made it a point of honour to reveal the details of the manufacturing costs and the selling price of each of our products.

Transparency on manufacturing sites

Shouldn't we always know where the products we wear come from? At JULES & JENN, we make a point of systematically sharing the exact country and region where our products are made, as well as photos of the manufacturing workshop and the artisans who work there.

Transparency on materials and labels

In addition to providing a detailed description of each product, we always specify the type and origin of the materials used in the manufacture of our products. Also, using independent labels helps ensure that our words are not just rhetoric, but truly reflect our commitment and actions.

On our site you will find a series of labels which attest to the quality of our materials and our manufacturing processes.

LWG Gold

An international label awarded to tanneries that implement the most rigorous standards to minimize their ecological impact in terms of water, energy, waste and chemical management.

Reach Standard

A European regulation that prohibits the use of hazardous chemicals in products. It ensures that the materials used meet strict safety standards for health and the environment.

GRS material

A label that certifies the use of recycled materials and guarantees responsible practices. It ensures complete traceability of recycling, from the initial product to the final product, with a commitment to the environment and working conditions.

Recycled material

A product labeled as recycled material is made entirely or partially from previously used materials, which are then reprocessed and reused for further production. This is a way to reduce the environmental footprint and limit waste.

Upcycled product

Upcycling involves reusing end-of-life products to create new items, without creating new materials, often leading to their being reinvented in a creative and sustainable way.

GOTS

This international label guarantees that textiles are made from organic fibers, grown without harmful chemicals. It certifies ethical working conditions and environmentally friendly production, from field to garment.

OEKO-TEX standard 100

This label certifies that textiles do not contain any harmful chemicals. Each labeled product meets strict safety criteria, providing safe and environmentally friendly materials.

OFG

This label certifies that the product is entirely made in France, attesting to the French origin of the raw materials and manufacturing, for more responsible production close to home.
