Our first Made In France show
This year, we participated for the first time in the Made in France Fair, which took place from November 8 to 11, 2019, in Paris.
Over the past few days, we have been able to present to you in person our bags and belts, all of which carry the Origine France Garantie label.
Behind the scenes of a neophyte
Day 1: Installation! We gathered our small team to set up and decorate our stand, located in the space dedicated to the Origine France Garantie label.
New to the show, we didn't really know what to expect. Especially since we were a little taken aback by the emptiness of our space upon arrival. We quickly chatted with our neighbors, who willingly shared their advice as more experienced attendees. A great atmosphere on this first day, with a sense of excitement to meet you the next day!
Day 2: Doors open at 10:00 a.m.! And there's already a queue outside the entrance... even though we're not quite ready yet... It's heartwarming to see so many people coming out to support Local Manufacturing.
Days 3/4/5: more than 80,000 people came to discover Made In France manufacturing and buy products from all regions.
Our meetings
At this show, we introduced our brand, our values and our history to people who didn't know us. What a joy to see them share our beliefs and give us new ideas to move forward in our approach to slow fashion and transparency .
We were also delighted to meet in person with people from our community, and even customers, to discuss with them the reasons for their commitment.
Regardless of the profile of the people, we exchanged with great kindness and we received a lot of encouragement. We wanted to thank you, because without you, we would not be able to continue to make sustainable and local fashion, at affordable prices .
Our launches
During this edition of the MIF 2019 trade show, we took the opportunity to introduce you to our superb leather products. At our stand, you could see, touch, and try on our entire collection of handbags and a selection of our vegetable-tanned leather belts for men and women.
It was also an opportunity for us to present our new handbag collection: Les Ravissantes. You loved trying our new bags, and your positive feedback really touched us! Ideal for a gift, this exclusive collection was designed to satisfy new styles.
This was also an opportunity for us to exclusively present our very first 100% Made In France sneaker ! Your enthusiasm for this sneaker, available from March 1, 2020, reassures us that it is possible to rebuild an entirely French shoe manufacturing sector , which had almost disappeared with globalization.
These few days at the show have taught us a lot! We thank you for coming to meet us or simply to support our shared values with the other participants of this 2019 edition of the Made in France Show!
