JULES & JENN now has a 7th partner workshop, still located in Europe , this time in Florence , Italy, the Italian cradle of leatherwork! Galliano, one of the co-owners of the workshop, answers our questions.
A real pleasure… We'll let you discover it for yourselves!
– Tell us about your experience…
I am a co-owner of two workshops near Florence, where I oversee and manage the commercial side. Working with these talented artisans is a pleasure!
– Why did you choose this profession?
A lover of fine materials and people, I've always had itchy feet; the flexibility of this profession immediately appealed to me. Passionate about it for 20 years, I want to perpetuate the tradition of true craftsmanship.

– For you, what is THE key skill?
Expertise in finishing: delivering high-quality products is vital for the perfectionist that I am!
– Take us into your work environment…
The family workshop has three artisans. Their passion is passed down from generation to generation and fuels a constant flow of creativity; ideas are constantly emerging!

– Tell us about your collaboration with JULES & JENN
A constructive and straightforward collaboration: a shared love of quality craftsmanship and respect for traditional techniques. They understand that a pair of sandals requires a full day – each piece of leather is dyed, dried, and then hand-finished with a patina.
– An anecdote?
During their last visit, they photographed everything and were already eagerly awaiting the arrival of their creations!
– What do you think of Slow Fashion?
I fully support this movement: responsible consumption is a duty, but shopping should remain a pleasure.
