The Oxfam Dressing Room x JULES & JENN

We are proud to announce our collaboration with the charity Oxfam France, on the occasion of the opening of its brand new store in Paris: Le Dressing d'Oxfam!

For Oxfam's Clothing Bank, we donated all the products we couldn't sell on our website: prototypes, items used for photoshoots, or those with minor defects. Since our launch, these products had been piling up because throwing them away was out of the question! As these items are perfectly wearable, Oxfam's Clothing Bank, which sells secondhand goods at very attractive prices, is the ideal place to give them a second life!

Find some of our shoe and accessory models in Oxfam's Dressing Room, starting Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 AM, on Avenue Parmentier in Paris!

Why Oxfam?

Founded in England in 1942, Oxfam is an organization that fights against poverty and social injustice. It took off in the 1970s with the opening of charity shops , or second-hand stores, throughout England. This week, Oxfam is opening its sixth charity shop in France! Called "Le Dressing d'Oxfam" (Oxfam's Wardrobe), this shop offers clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories donated by individuals, as well as by ethical brands like JULES & JENN!

With this shop, Oxfam makes fashion more accessible through low prices and is also committed to fighting overconsumption. Oxfam shops allow consumers to exercise their civic power in a simple, concrete, and effective way by supporting an alternative mode of consumption.

Furthermore, the profits from the shop will then be used for all the actions of the Oxfam France association.

The two facets of our approach

The aim of this collaboration is to promote, through our consumption habits, a more sustainable and equitable society. By regularly donating items to Oxfam, we primarily aim to address two key areas: the fight against waste /zero waste and the promotion of greater social justice .

As part of a broader effort to reduce our impact by limiting our waste, it's essential not to throw away items we can't sell through traditional channels. By giving a second life to our products, such as prototypes, items used in photoshoots, and customer returns with minor defects, we avoid destroying items that have already been produced.

By receiving donated items, Oxfam can offer very attractive selling prices. High-quality, perfectly marketable products become accessible to people who might not otherwise be able to afford them at full price. Even on a small scale, this is a way to promote greater social equity.

Starting Saturday, December 14th, we invite you to discover Oxfam's Clothing Bank, where you'll find a selection of our items, as well as products donated by other ethical brands and individuals. This is also an opportunity for you to donate your unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories, joining forces to combat overconsumption!
