Our first Made In France show
This year, we participated for the first time in the Made in France trade fair, which took place from November 8 to 11, 2019, in Paris.
Over these few days, we were able to present to you in person our bags and belts , all of which bear the Origine France Garantie label.
Behind the scenes of a novice
Day 1: Setup! We gathered our small team to set up and decorate our stand, located in the area dedicated to the Origine France Garantie label.
As newcomers to this trade show, we didn't really know what to expect. Especially since we were a little taken aback by the emptiness of our booth when we arrived. We quickly chatted with our neighbors who kindly offered advice from more experienced attendees. A great atmosphere on this first day, with the feeling of excitement to meet you all the very next day!
Day 2: Doors open at 10:00 am! And there's already a queue outside the entrance… even though we're not quite ready… It warms our hearts to see so many people coming out to support local manufacturing.
Days 3 / 4 / 5: more than 80,000 people came to discover Made In France manufacturing and buy products from all regions.
Our meetings
At this trade show, we introduced our brand, our values, and our story to people who were unfamiliar with us. It was wonderful to see them share our convictions and give us new ideas to further our commitment to slow fashion and transparency.
We were also delighted to meet in person people from our community, and even customers, to discuss with them the reasons for their commitment.
Regardless of their background, we had very kind exchanges and received a lot of encouragement. We wanted to thank you, because without you, we couldn't continue to create sustainable, locally made fashion at affordable prices.
Our launches
During this edition of the MIF 2019 trade show, we took the opportunity to showcase our superb leather products. At our booth, you were able to see, touch, and try on our entire collection of handbags and a selection of our vegetable-tanned leather belts for men and women.
This was also an opportunity for us to introduce our new handbag collection: Les Ravissantes. You enjoyed trying out our new bags, and your positive feedback touched us deeply! Ideal for a gift, this exclusive collection was designed to satisfy a variety of styles.
This was also an opportunity for us to exclusively present our very first 100% Made In France sneaker ! Your enthusiasm for this sneaker, available from March 1, 2020, reinforces our belief that it is possible to rebuild a completely French shoe manufacturing sector, something that had almost disappeared with globalization.
These few days at the trade show have taught us a great deal! We thank you for coming to meet us or simply to support our shared values with the other participants of this 2019 Made in France trade show!
